Wheelcraft Quick Change rear & front spool hub, 40 hole ………

In the tradition of many spool type quick change hubs, Wheelcraft has made improvements to enhance performance and increase durability.

An alloy of  7075 is utilized  to provide a lighter, stronger unit that resists wear in the spoke flange area, evident in hubs made of 6061 alloy.

Flanges are angled toward the center, reducing spoke stress at the apex of the bend.

Thicker flanges facilitate modern power output and traction provided.

High quality FAG 6205 bearings from Germany are at the center of this hub.

Traditional collars are secured with eight bolts. The Wheelcraft hub utilizes four class eight bolts per side and four case hardened pins. The hub is .125 wider on each side providing additional support. This modification results in a hub weight reduction of six ounces. ( rotating mass)

Collars and k/o nuts are available to make the rear hub 6.250”or 6.50” wide. Other collar widths available upon request.

 

 

 

 

Hubs are available in raw finish. Electrostatic applied fluid coating in clear or black are available.
