MORAD, previously known as AKRONT is located in Barcelona, Spain. Approximately twelve years ago the company was restructured and retooled.  The key previous management spawned MORAD.  We were privileged to tour this state of the art facility that is so clean and pristine they could serve a meal on the floor anywhere, at any time.

 MORAD is a unique melding of executives who have an understanding of manufacturing with those who circulate motorcycles in their bloodstream. The result is a product line that is purpose driven.  Each rim profile is designed with a specific use and/or type of motorcycle in mind.

 MS   -  The profile of this rim was a mainstay on bikes of the late 60's and 70's.   Sometimes known as a, valanced rim, because of the high shoulder running around the edge, the MS is extremely strong for its weight.

 

 

 

 

 

 MTC  - This is the most durable of the profiles.  This is not a valanced rim.  Most commonly, it is seen on off-road competition bikes.  Flanges being thicker than competing  products, yield a rim that resistant to denting and flat spots.

 

 

 

 

 

 

MTR - This profile is a reinforced rim.   Although it is not quite as strong as the TC, being  lighter, it is used in dirt track, super moto and trials  to reduce the weight of the wheel.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

MT -  This is the lightest rim in the range, used for small motorcycles and Speedway / Grass track  front wheel applications.
